The Hon Peter Dutton MP was sworn in as the Minister for Home Affairs on 20 December 2017. On 20 December 2017, he was appointed the Minister for Home Affairs and the Minister for Immigration and Border Protection. On 27 August 2018, he was sworn in as the Minister for Home Affairs.

The Hon David Coleman MP was sworn in as the Minister for Immigration, Citizenship and Multicultural Affairs on 28 August 2018. Following the swearing in of the second Morrison Ministry on 29 May 2019, Mr Coleman became the Minister for Immigration, Citizenship, Migrant Services and Multicultural Affairs.
